Our Strategy

Sharing Our Lives & the Gospel

“Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well.” — 1 Thessalonians 2:8

Launch Team — Establishing Culture
  • Gather Weekly — Faithfully attend our weekly Bible study and prayer gathering:

“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.” — Hebrews 10:24–25

  • Practice Hospitality — Participate in “family meals,” hosted 1-2x a month and invite unbelieving friends, neighbors, coworkers, and family:

“Contribute to the needs of the saints and seek to show hospitality.” — Romans 12:13

  • Live Missionally — Build relationships and share the gospel where you live, work, and play; get involved in at least one activity in Pittsboro (e.g., mahjong, book club, CrossFit, jiu-jitsu, cycling, gardening, basketball) where you can leverage common grace for the purposes of saving grace:

“All this is from God, who through Christ reconciled us to himself and gave us the ministry of reconciliation… Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.” — 2 Corinthians 5:18, 20

  • Serve Our Community — Participate in the bimonthly mercy ministry rotation (e.g., CORA Food Pantry, Reach Out Pregnancy Center, and The Salvation Army):

“Only, they asked us to remember the poor, the very thing I was eager to do.” — Galatians 2:10
